Well, I exist. What more can I say?

That question presupposes that god exists and that we would compare ourselves to him. Also, the question is loaded. Your question clearly displays your lack of understanding about atheism. You fail.
Edit: I just wanted to add a little side note... Don't misunderstand me as conceding god exists here, but yeah it is about how great humans are. It is about time humans start taking credit for their own accomplishments and failures. Period.

NO! Atheism is not the same as egoism!
Atheism entails the absence of belief in the existence of God or other deities. Atheists are people who do not believe in a god or gods (or other immaterial beings), or who believe that these concepts are not meaningful.

We don't care 'how great God might be', we'd be agnostics if we did. (I assume that a believer who was asked how great God was would reply "Infinitely!")
You'd have to be very self obsessed if you thought it was all about how great you are. 'How I can improve my own lot while also improving that of others' would be a better manifesto.

How can a nonexistent being be great? As for my greatness, all I can say is my shrink constantly tries to build my self esteem. I not only have no delusions of grandeur, I don't even have delusions of mediocrity.

Riiight. So, you're a Christian, are you? Which means you think that God built the entire universe, the planet and everything on it all for your use.
And you reckon we're arrogant...

That's right. In fact, I have an altar to my own greatness up in the attic.

like a hymnal or something "how great thou art"?
so are you trying to say that atheists are trying to diminish what they don't believe in or are you trying to say that atheists are trying to elevate themselves to the status of a god which they also don't believe in?
either way sounds pretty goofy to me.

Some Christians think they're pretty great - they write posts like this one.
