Umm...the answer is, don't. Call your company immediately and report the card stolen, or else whoever found it could easily steal your identity and/or run up the bill by buying stuff in your name...or apply for other cards in your name that you would never know about until you started getting bills.

If you are waiting for a replacement then you have already reported it lost or stolen, no transactions can take place because in effect the number on it no longer exists it was canceled, and use of it will trigger you as the person who stole it, but since it is yours, would be constituted as fraud.

If there is any possibility that someone else has it, you should have it cancelled and a new one issued. I wouldn't use it while you wait.
