You may be in with a chance if you put together as really professional proposal and sell it to a motorbike shop as promotion for them and their bikes but honestly unless it is for a really well known charity I don't think you have much chance. In this day and age people are hesitant to give money away for causes that are quite self centred. Even if you brought a charity in you would really have to show it was above board and that you were committed and putting a lot of your time and money in to the charity too. Best bet is to try a successful bike shop and hope for the best. Enjoy your trip if you go.

Approach local business men or local football teams. Could be good publicity for them maybe. And local newspapers who might want to run the story.
