Him being a homosexual isn't a problem for me.
I have a problem with politicians saying one thing and doing another.
He's a jerk & I would never support him.

My concern is with his ethics, not his sexuality. His guilty plea was made approximately one month after the incident in the airport bathroom (whether you believe Criag's account or the officer's). Senator Craig had the opportunity in the meantime to obtain legal council which he did not. He read and initialed each page of the plea agreement including the portion of it that said "I understand the court will not accept a plea of guilty from someone who claims to be innocent" as well as the portion that said "I now make no claim that I am innocent of the charge to which I am entering a plea of guilty"
If he lied when he pled guilty, his ethics are suspect.
If he lied about NOT being guilty, his ethics are suspect....
He can't have it both ways, and I am disappointed that he is now showing YET AGAIN that his word means nothing when he originally stated he would resign on September 30th and then stated he would resign if the plea was not overturned. Now he states he will not resign unless the Senate expells him.

I just think the whole sting thing was a bit shady. I could understand it if they were trying to catch people copulating in public restrooms or even potentially prostitution, but I haven't followed it enough to determine that. I personally don't care about the Senator's sexual preference unless it affects his responsibility to his voters.
