I have a telephone interview with one of the large Mobile Companies....?

Question

It's for a retail sales position and I am very interested in this position so could you please give me:

- Questions likely to be asked
- what will be discussed

have you ever had one of these interviews ?

any other advice ?

Just sound enthusiastic. They will probably ask you if you like to work as part of a team and if you have have ever had to work to targets. Good luck.

I have had a telephone interview before, but I have been told by my manager that that they listen to how clear your voice and if you are articulate.

They will more than likely ask you something like..

'How will you deal with this situation'

I have just noticed that it is sales, a little secret, if you smile when on the phone, the person on the other end will hear it (which i think is strange but fascinating)

Smile loads and you will sound enthusiastic.

The questions will be no different from any other type of interview, the most important thing is a to speak clearly and with proper english. I have been on both ends of these interviews and a sure killer is when someone mumbles and makes up words.

they will ask you why you want to work with them, my answer was that l wanted to work with the public for a well respected and trusted company, this was for the royal mail, i didnt get the job but it got me thru for an interview, best of luck xx.

have a list of your qualities as well as your qualifications and experience al l laid out in front of you so when they say so what makes you the perfect candidate for this job really sell yourself, speak clear and confidant and good luck
