I have the enviable pleasure of going to both Disneyland in California and Disneyworld in Florida.
Because the one in California is much older, its much more run down than the newer Fantasyland in Florida.
But I'll get back to that later.
"It never rains in california ,the girls only warn ya" was a lyric to an old song, and thats only a half truth, but i wouldnt worry too much of the rain, what you have to worry about is what time of the month in March. You see Mr. Disney was brilliant in putting an amusement park in both parts of the U.S. where frost ends after the second week in March, but this fact is truer in Southern California as apposed to Florida. Florida frost has been known to last until first week of April.
I would make it for the last week of March, its alot cleaner air and snow is still up on the San Gabriel and San Gergornio Mountains which you can see from the high rides, such as the matahorn and the frontierland log ride.
You can spend 3 days at the Epcot Center and still never see all there is to see at Disneyworld,Florida. You only need one day to see everything at Disneyland in California.
But that doesnt mean Disneyland is not a bad idea. there are other good amusement parks within short driving distance from Anahiem.Such as 6 flags Magic mountain and Universal Studios, which are both fun and leave you with good memories. And if you have enough time, try and make it to the Los Angeles Zoo.Always fun for the kids.
Have a great time.

It really doesnt rain that often in Southern Califnornia and even if the forcast calls for rain its a good time to go to Disneyland. Often the forcast will be wrong and many people will stay away because of the forecast. And if it doesn rain the parks clear out. The best weekend to go is Super Bowl weelend, everyone is home watching the game. I was there the last two years over SB weekend and almost everything was walk on. The only thing you might run into is rides closed for refurbishment, you would need to check the calander ont he Disney website to see whats closed and they will not post the calenders until about 3 months in advance and sometimes closures are not listed until later so it can be hit and miss.
Just about anytime late Jan through March are good times to go, April you will see bigger crowds with spring beaks, then it will slow down a little until summertime.

Really, it doesn't rain here that much. You are in pretty good shape in any of the months you mentioned. Disneyland is good to visit in the spring because it is less crowded than the summer and the weather is so pleasant. I would suggest March, before Easter, for a visit to the Magic Kingdom.

The Rainy Season is VERY "hit & miss" in California. Odds are- if you GO, you'll Hit it. But if you DON'T- the weather will be fine. If you want to take your "chances", try to go as LATE in the Winter as you can. -The later the time AFTER the middle of March, the BETTER. Otherwise, expect rain, wind & big long lines- from New Years Day- on.

we rarely get any rain at all.... rainy days are actually best to go to Disneyland... thats when I go... on like the day after it rained... so like a cloudy tuesday or something. I would try February... umm.. we really don't get any rain... the best thing to do is to book when it comes closer to the time. I never book disneyland in advance... I just go and get tickets...
