No. In my situation, my father commit suicide and my mother was mentally ill and abusive. My husbands parents are arrogant bigots. I do honor their higher selves for the lessons that they have provided for me, but to praise them would be dishonest and of no benefit to them.

Parents need praise just as we need praise. Think about it...when parents are older they need to know they did something right by us. We need to let them know they did and thank them. What a blessing that is to them.

Every chance I get! They are wonderful. They provided a loving and supportive home and now that I'm an adult I realize how important they truly are everyday.

Oh, you mean.."worship?" (this is for our over religious ) it's true? The Lord just wants us not to forget to worship him for the things He does and is doing, and has done for us and going to do....also, just like parents, he is our parent also.....

my parents are really loving and has taken care of me a lot. i tell them about it all the time

Every day.....my parents were awesome.

My Dad is deceased now.....but Sunday my mother will get flowers....it's my birthday, and I always thank her.
