It expired 10/07, so does this mean it is expired now, or that I have until the end of the month to get it fixed?

Depends on which state. Some states give you until the end of the month. Other states have a specific expiration date. Look on you registration paperwork. It usually gives you the date.

If you look at your registration it will list the specific day it expires. 10/07 is generic. It may expire anywhere from 10/01/07 to 10/31/07. It's good until the day listed on your registration.

You have til Oct.31st. Best renew it now, get repairs made and get your wheels rolling in for inspection if you're due this year.. Here in NJ, it's now every 2 years for inspection. Driving without valid registration will cost you a bundle if caught and of course you need valid registration to get the vehicle inspected. :-)

In Michigan you have until your actual birthday. The tags always expire in your birth month, on your birth date. At least in Michigan....renew early or face a penalty if you're late! (more $$$)....
