Although I don't fully understand your question, I will say, when I grieve there is a worship service at the funeral in which you honour that person's life.

Worship is Praise
Grieving is Sorrow

But, my faith in Jesus is just that.... Scriptures give me guidance & strength in ALL aspects of my life.

Having just lost my favourite aunt, it's hard for me to grieve because she didn't want a funeral and was cremated and her ashes will be dealt with next spring at a memorial service, so I do find it hard to mourn for her because I saw her a week before the Lord called her home and never saw her when she passed away.

I am trying to make sense of the question. Would you care to expand a little?

Could you possibly be less specific and more utterly vague and pseudo-philosophical? No, I don't think so.
