Probably depends on how you lost the weight..But i've always heard that faster you lose weight the faster you'll gain it back but the slower you lose weight the longer you will keep it off...

That's 13 pounds a month. Ideally you should lose no more than 2 pounds a week, but I have known people who have lost more than 13 pounds a month over several months and did okay. There are conditions, of course (aren't there always?). You should be healthy enough to maintain normal body function while losing weight rapidly. You should have enough weight to lose, in order to reasonably drop 52 pounds without ending up looking like a stick. And, you should be young enough to withstand that losing that much weight, that quickly. We old people don't fare very well. I once lost 60 pounds in about 6 months, but that was when I was....well, younger, let's say. Go for it. Just make sure that the food you DO put in your mouth is nutritionally sound, and take a vitamin supplement. You should really okay it with your doctor before you start, too.
