Yes, you did...but sometimes actions...even the right action...can have consequences. (Though personally, I would sure as hell appeal the suspension...get the Indian kid to testify for you.)
Good luck!

"The true measure of a man is not where he stands in times of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy. The true neighbor will risk his position, his prestige, and even his life, for the welfare of others. In dangerous valleys and hazardous pathways He will lift some bruised and beaten brother to a higher and more noble life"
These are the words of one of the greatest heros of human history. Martin Luther King Jr.
I would say you did the right thing. I would suggest you try and settle things peacfully using your brains other than your fists.
You are good person. Bullies only win when others stand by and say nothing or do nothing.
You need to explain that You will not tolerate bullies or violence and it is the students responsibilty to defend those too weak to stand up for themselves.
You did the right thing but dont get a swollen head about it either. Talk to your parents about anything you do First.

It was good that you helped this young man, however the way you handled it is why you are suspended.

When you say you took out both the dudes I am assuming you used violence...am I correct? You should of tried other methods to resolve the conflict. Getting an adult who is close by, trying to distract the kids by asking what they are doing and other non-violent methods. If that doesn't work let them make the first swing and you shouldn't be suspended.

I would say yes in this case even though I abhor violence at any time. Two to one is unfair no matter how you look at it and racism is also wrong. Were the two guys suspended as well? Surely the Indian kid was not suspended also.

YES! if there was no other way to stop them, you've done the right thing. I mean, come on! If you were gonna get a teacher, by the time you came back, it would be all over. You are a hero!! You should talk to the school board about this. What they did was not right.

Yes you did the right thing. I would have done the same. Sometimes the actions are worth the consequences. If they won't let you out of the suspension just take it and know that you have helped someone else.

you have done. and you knew even getting suspended, being

It's always good to stand up to people, but it probably would have saved you from getting suspended if had just gone and gotten a teacher or administrator. You could also have tried to get someone to help you and separate the boys.

Yes you did the right thing for stopping it.
But it wasn't right to knock the kids out.....well thats how the school sees it anyways.
I think that was a cool thing you did for the kid.
Fight the suspension.
FIGHT THE POWER!!! lol

You certainly did do the right thing. Unfortunately, "No good deed goes unpunished."

It's not who throws the first punch that gets in trouble, it's the one that gets caught.

Sorry that you were suspended but you can live with it, knowing you did the right thing.
