9.) We have to put up with them, which I guess infuriates them. (Pascal's Wager, etc.)

I'm a Christian. I live in the US, and don't think that atheists are doing anything bad for our country. I have religious belief, and they don't. That's the difference between us. Otherwise, they're just people, with many of the same concerns as anyone else. I have atheist friends, co-workers and neighbors, and I just don't see that they're doing anything bad for the nation. On one level, they may be helping the nation by pointing out the fact that there are extremists who'd like to turn this country into a theocracy. I'll gladly fight that trend right along with them. I'm religious, but am a strong believer in the separation of church and state.

I understand atheists are pariahs in the USA, but here in the UK they are really the majority. We send out kids to faith schools etc but that is just because they teach well and have good discipline but everybody knows religion is all rubbish
