i really like this guy in school and.... im not sure if he likes me back. I mean he has given me some signs but overall not much. but i will still always like him cuz he is nice to me and hes smart and ohh gosh dnt even get me started about how cute he is. Well at lunch today, one of my best friends(we r rely close) told me that she thinks he likes her. that i guess i was ok with until about 10 mins later she said to me...I hope he likes me. and i said why? and she said, I like him back. I just sat there trying not to cry b/c she nos how much i like him. I got my stuff, got up and walked over to sit with my other friends at a different table. I couldnt STAND to be near her any longer.I didnt care that she might feel bad now.. that wasnt enough. I was soo FURIOUS... later i wrote a nasty letter to her and put it in her locker. I hoped... that she would feel terible after reading it. Is this wrong for me to feel like this????????????

Feelings are never wrong, but your actions were pretty mean. If you have feelings for him and he's such a great catch, why wouldn't your friend like him too? She's allowed to like have her feelings.

First of all, you should apologize to her. What you did was REALLY MEAN. Tell her that the idea of them going out alone upset you, but that you should not have taken that out on her, because she didn't actually DO anything. Then tell her that it would really hurt you if they went out.

Yes it is. Don't ever let a guy or anyone get in the way of your friendship. If the guy chose you. . .how do you think she would feel? Put yourself in her shoes. She has feelings too.
I say make an agreement that you too will not date him out of respect for each other.

Just go tell the guy how you feel about him. If he likes you, whatever she says wont matter. If he likes her then it will save you a bunch of grief. Either way you get to move on and quit wondering

no, but the nasty letter was unneccasary. You ahould have told her how upset you were with out yelling at her. Remember, boys will come and go, but friends last forever.

You like the guy but you're not sure if he even likes you, your friend isn't even sure if he likes her. You can't be mad at her because he's not your boyfriend, if he was that would be a different story...

Yes, it's wrong..... and you were very cruel.

I am sure it hurt you when your friend said what she did, but does she even know you like this guy? It doesn't sound like she has the vaguest idea.

If your friend doesn't speak to you again, i won't blame her.

i think the fact that your in school sums this one all up. if he likes you, great. if he likes her, and she likes him, than you should be happy for them. you'll find someone new to like.

maybe you should tell him how you feel??? guys are usually more scared about letting girls know how they feel then girls are at letting guys know.

Your "friend" broke a rule of friendship. I hope you end this "friendship" now.
