I have a hourglass figure and weight is fairly evenly distributed on my frame...how much weight do you think I'd need to go down about 1 and 1/2 dress sizes?

I'm small framed and 5'3.5"

That depends on your height, starting weight and bone structure. A tall big framed woman would have to lose more than a short small framed one. And the larger you start the more weight you have to lose to go down 1 dress size. If you are medium height, frame and just a little overweight I would shoot for 10 lbs to start.

40 pounds - 20 pounds per dress size. You might go down two sizes if you start doing a LOT of exercise to tighten and firm at the same time you're losing weight. Then you might drop 2 sizes with only a 30 pound weight loss. The ads that claim otherwise (I lost 20 pounds and dropped 6 sizes!!!!) are a crock.

The production cycle on wedding ceremony gowns is each 14 weeks. you've 14 weeks to reserve a gown from the start of the production line. so that you've 5 months to lose the burden, then order the gown. The alteration on a gown might want to be value prohibitive extraordinarily if there is diverse lace or beading. regularly outfits might want to be altered 2 gown sizes, it is commonly 20 lbs. I propose you lose the burden over the subsequent 5 months, order the gown interior the size you're at that element, and pass on from there. Altered outfits do not continuously seem an same because the unique line.

It's usually said that about 5 pounds for each size. I have found that number to be more like 7 for me (medium frame).

Most likely 10 - 15 pounds.

About 20 LBS- about 10 pounds would make you go up or down a size.

5lbs equals approximately one dress size, so the weight you lose should be about 10 lbs.
