Writer and author mean the same thing, so I'm not sure what you mean.
The Bible doesn't have just one author though; each book has a different one.
Hmm.. perhaps you mean that God is one and the various scribes who put pen to paper are the other? But I'm not sure which would be "writer" and which "author", as those still mean pretty much the same thing.

The writers were simple secretaries. The Author is the one who's thoughts are put down on paper or should I say on scrolls. Jehovah God.
2 Peter 1:20,21 - . 20 For YOU know this first, that no prophecy of Scripture springs from any private interpretation. 21 For prophecy was at no time brought by man’s will, but men spoke from God as they were borne along by holy spirit.

A 'contradiction' is while one verse contradicts yet another. those are everywhere in the Bible, as you have shown us. A 'real contradiction' is one which Christians won't be able to make an excuse for...and that they are truly good at making excuses that fulfill themselves. those would all be widespread old contradictions. I have not have been given any prefer to make excuses for them, in an attempt to me they're 'real contradictions'. no count if 'God' is unchangeable isn't the question. The question isn't any count if the writers of the Bible have been able to being completely consistent of their descriptions of a character of their tale e book -- the respond isn't any...in the event that they have been, we does not could make the above differences.

"All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness......" II Timothy 3:16
"For the Prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by The Holy Ghost." II Peter 1:21
Inspiration comes from a word which means, "Breathed Upon" and it refers to a Sailing Ship being moved over the waters by the unseen wind.
The Author is that "Breath", the writer is the one being moved upon. There were over 40 "writers" who wroth over a period of 1500 years, in 66 Books, yet there is a consistency that can never be disproved

Essentially they're the same, but you could make a case that the writers were the humans that wrote it but god was the ultimate author.
Unfortunately, it seems to have a considerable amount of contradictions and a dearth of supporting evidence, so in reality the humans that wrote it are the authors.

Well you need to use the plural as it was quite a few different Men who made these writings. Then when the Church decided to make a Bible they compiled all of these writings and voted on which ones would be put in their Bible.

The author of the bible is not known, and will never be known.
The bible was written over eons ago, taking parts of past religions and incorporating them into a philosophy that was named the christian religion.
Just think of the thousands of religions that preceded the christian religion. Were they all wrong? If so Why?
The christian religion is fairly new in history.
Which one is the true religion

A scribe is one who puts pen to paper, that is what a writer is.
An author is the source of the words that the scribe puts down on paper.
