it is true that most men, with their brain chemistry being as it is, DOES like a woman to be attractive according to the standards set by television, radio, and magazines.
However, in my experience, the only thing that makes one girl stand out from all the rest is uniqueness! Something that sets her apart, something that shows she is not trying to get guys attention or flaunt herself........for example: I recently went on a cruise where alot of girls were in bikinis and dancing quite provocatively so the guys around them could "notice" them.........I on the underhand dont need to seek out others attention to make myself feel better, so I just laid back with my book. I got more attention than they did.........just because that one thing told them that I was not just a pretty face - that I also had SUBSTANCE.
So that is what really gets a guys attention for the long term.

i guess most guys would want a pretty girl, skinny or medium, outgoing, easy to talk to, confident, and not a total barbie doll, someone who he thinks he would die without so just try to be
