If I have a column of email addresses in Excel, how can I join them together with commas so that:
larry@yahoo.com
paul@yahoo.com
john@yahoo.com

will apprear like this larry@yahoo.com,paul@yahoo.com,john@yahoo.com and so on
I have 1424 emails and i need to send an email

Well, the .csv format uses commas as delimiters, but the comma delimits columns not rows. One approach would be to pivot your data, then save as csv. Select the cells containing the addresses, then choose edit>copy. Now switch to a blank worksheet. Right click in the first cell and choose 'paste special'. In the box that pops up, click the 'transpose' checkbox. Click OK. Now export the worksheet as a .csv file.

In Excel, go to File, and then choose "Save As". Name it and in the drop down list for file type, select "CSV (Comma Delimited.)

I agree - File, Save as, comma delimited .csv.

I'm wondering if this is necessary.
Couldn't you create a group,select all, and put them in it, then just e-mail the to the group.

What Linux OS said, and then right click, and select open with notepad or wordpad.
