1. its illegal and disgusting!!! It speaks really badly about the 22 that they can't get someone their own age that they can relate with a 12 CHILD. You're still a CHILD at 12!!! 2. I can understand how a younger girl would be attracted to an older guy but again the guy should not feel the same. Its so wrong!!! Would you the 12 year old date someone that's 2??? Its the same thing!!

I have a 12 year old daughter as well and they are at that age. Tell her that she's a little young to get boys to notice her right now. But in the next few years she will be wearing make up and going to school dances and they will notice her then!!

Ask exactly what she wants them to notice about her! If she just want them to notice she exists, give her pointers on entering herself in a group conversation. Or other ways of approaching a classmate and talking to them. If she wants them to notice how pretty she is, do something suddle like fix her hair different, or special hairbands. I know 12 does sound too young to be interested in what boys think, but she's in middle school. (or will be) I don't have a 12 yr old little girl, but i gave the question my best shot!

First you should probably ask her why she wants guys to notice her. She might just want more friends. The more obvious reason for wanting guys to notice her is that she wants a boyfriend. If you are not ok with that you should tell her how you feel. Maybe set some ground rules about when she is allowed to date. I hope this helps!

Well, you could always let her learn a little information when she turns 13, at school there would be a form to sign so the teacher show about puberty in a video that is educational.

My 12 year old grandson asked me the same question.......I told him to just be himself and for now he was too young to think in that form but that he should be friends with the girls and get to know them.........After awhile he will know how to decide if he is even read for this and before he does marry he will go trough many different relationships before he knows for sure he is ready for one serious one...........

Tell her to just be herself and not be so desperate for a guy to notice her, girls who try hard to get noticed are usually the ones who get ignored unless the guys just want someone to use.

tell her to just be herself, that way when she strikes a guys fancy he will like her for her. something she could do without changing her personality is wear her hair different, or try letting her wear a little bit of eyeshadow and blush. i dont know what your feelings are towards her wearing makeup but a little bit of light makeup will boost her confidence and make her feel prettier.
i wasnt allowed my first bit of makeup til i was 13 and even then it was only eyeshadow and blush. you dont want her to look like a tart so something light and down to earth is a good idea. you could also try new clothes, something that is pretty and makes her stand out a little.

well she is only 12 and that means Junior high. either your going to tell her or her Friends will. and that's the age were they want to being experimenting. well i think they do but just tell her that she doesn't have to do anything. if a boy is interested in her then he'll like her just the way she is. : ) GOOD LUCK!!!

On the same day she started her.? hmm... I would tell her to changer her pad often and groom herself like a lady and not a child that needs reminding... be her sweet and innocent self (???) and the "good" guys will notice her in no time. Can we say uncouthe???
