I need it for a school project that's due in a few weeks and the teacher said we need to use Power Point. My school has version 2003, so is there a downloadable version of this on the internet anywhere?

Thanks in advance and 10 points if you find it =)

There is no free, downloadable version of PowerPoint. However, you can download the OpenOffice Suite for free. OO has a feature called Impress with is very similar to and compatible with MS PowerPoint. The installation file is a 90-plus meg download, so if downloading a file that size isn't feasible for you, you can spend just a few bucks and order it on CD.

As long as you don't use too many fancy features in your presentation, you can build your presentation in Impress, save it in PowerPoint format, and your teacher will be none the wiser. Good luck with your project and hope that helps!

Powerpoint is not, and probably never will be, free - however, there is a free Powerpoint viewer which will allow you to at least open and look at it.

There are links on this page to the viewer for 2003 and 2007.
