What is your favorite episode of COPS?

Mine was when the guy kept calling the officer papi. I couldn't stop laughing... LMAO!!!

The last episode that I was on about 3 years ago where I arrested a nasty prostitute in a stolen car! lol.

I actually don't even watch the show. I live it 12 hours a day so the last thing I want to do is go home and watch more of it.

I do have an unedited tape of the show that aired. Nice to look back on in the future.

Well I don't make fun of cops cause I'm going to be one..

but the funniest so far was when the cops arrived at a place where a suspect was supposed to be and the film crew followed a cop who went the totally wrong way to the wrong building and then behind it.

Then when he found where it was they already had him arrested :)) and he tried to get in on the action handling the guy putting him in the car.

It was pitiful and hilarious.

I swear I've seen some episodes that were like Reno 911.

When the police get a report of shots fired. Immediately the investigating officer sees a speeding white car with African Americans heading in the opposite direction. He pulls a 180 and floors his cruiser. The perps do not hail for the lights, instead they proceed to the driveway of a home and are caught with crack left on the floor. Whats funny is how the resident girl friend tries to defend them as cuddly teddy bears and tries to initially act as if an investigating officer. Another funny but serious scene is in Florida were the white couple are arrested for possession of pot and the girlfriend takes the blame while the exotic dealer and passenger tries to alienate himself from her as if by her taking the blame he is not subject to being looked over and having his hat lifted off his head. what about the amw episode with the guy who escaped prison, kept robbing banks, and had the dreamcatcher tattoo while bragging about having bought new sneakers. sppooooky.

I don't watch it much anymore but the one that had me rolling on the floor was the guy stopped for traffic and he was asked if there was marijuana in the vehicle. He didn't give a straight yes or no just said "There might be".

The problem was, you could see the marijuana joint sticking out from his hat next to his ear.

"Ah yes, the powers of observation!"

Another good "teaching moment" episode was the Florida Deputy from Broward Co. that had a guy for a Felony warrant but didn't have him cuffed and he bolted(Big suprise). After chasing him for a couple of blocks and catching him you could hear his Lt. bitching him out saying "Cuff him, put him in the car, THEN confirm the warrant!!!"

If we can't laugh at ourselves, it's time to find another job.

I always remember the scene where a cop pulled a car over, then someone hit a guy on a bicycle and launched him in the air. That still gives me chills when I see it.

haha the one when the NOPD goes into the apartment where chicks are flashing for the crowd. They were telling the ladies "technically its illegal, but we don't care. We just want you to stop for a couple of minutes when you see a big crowd. "
