believing that what you had always believed in was false?

FYI:
That was what I had done before I was saved...

Of course, we all do! From the apostle Thomas on down through the centuries. "I believe, I believe. Lord help my disbelief." I have come to know God as having a fantastic sense of humor. When I fall in a 'Leap of Faith' I hear Him laughing and I laugh right along. We are given the privilege of failing so we can become more perfect if only in our acceptance of falling.

Sweetie we've all missed the mark. I was hit with real revelation a couple of years ago when I was so smug in my beliefs. Boy was I wrong !!! I was thanking God that I believed He was the creator of the universe and all that Is In It.That Jesus Christ Is the Son of God, and that He was born of a virgin,and crucified and rose again on the third day. I was so smug In believing that. Then God woke me up and said . Even demons believe.
The only difference Is they don't obey and do the will of My Father In Heaven. Only those that believ,obey and do the will of My Father will enter Into the kingdom of heaven.. What A wake up call for me..

I have done things that I thought was what God wanted only to find out that I was wrong.This is one of the ways that we learn.Take the example of Paul the Apostle.He killed Christians thinking he was doing God a service.Isn't it wonderful how our Lord looks at our hearts instead of what He sees us doing.

1 Timothy 1:12 " And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;

1Timothy 1:13 Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.'

I praise God that from the beginning of my walk He placed me in a sound church and I have, by His grace, grown leaps and bounds.

Never fell like that.

Met and married my husband, have 4 beautiful boys, and we'll be celebrating 10 years of bliss soon. All praise and glory to the Triune God!

Mine is concern-unfastened, even though it fairly is served me nicely, and has helped me by a great form of annoying cases. i think of I made it up, yet then i'm specific I in all probability heard it someplace. "the only selection we ought to make in stay is how suitable to spend the time we've been given." it fairly is not humorous or clever, even though it relatively works. stay by it and you will never be in prefer of yet another.
