My wife and I will celebrate with a family get together which includes a long hike in the forest, and discussions about environmental issues.

No more special than usual.
Handing out candy and dressing up for the first part of the evening.
Making offerings of respect to my ancestors, along with meditation and a small ritual later. Since I'm solitary, it'll probably be a pretty quiet night. Work the next day, after all.

I'm an eclectic solitary, so it'll be a small, private ritual and of course dressing up and handing out treats to neighborhood kids.
I might take a trip to the cemetery if I have time, otherwise I'll just burn a special candle and use some particular herbs for offerings and the like.

I'll be hosting my 11th annual Samhain ritual, which is a closed rite with a maximum of 13 participants. We offer food to our beloved dead, tell stories in memory of them, and burn pieces of flash paper on which things we want to get rid of are written. We will also enact a ritual play of the story of the Goddess in the Kingdom of Death.

This will be a very difficult year, since my mother just passed away this June.

Our coven is doing interviews & photo shoot (5 pages in the Religion section!) on October 24th for the Sunday edition of the newspaper. The reporter will be joining us for a ritual also.
Other than that we'll be doing the usual visiting family members' graves, etc.

I have a ritual type thing with my Ecletic friends at the UU Church and I'm not sure what the kindreds are doing for Winter Nights. I haven't had time to check.

November Eve itself will be a private family only function, but we're having a public ritual Oct. 27th, with an ecumenical rite, feast and trust table.
