Well, the Bible says that God gave us the plants and the animals to eat, so if you believe in God and all that jazz, I think "fruit" would fit into that category. If "froot" is a slang term for something that isn't "fruit," though, I wouldn't know.

No, fruit like all life evolved over millions of years and was not created by a God. Just look at the pineapple. Delicious yes, but for goodness sake for somone who is supposed to be omnipotent God did an awful job designing that little chestnut. And theres another example. The chestnut. You spend years trying to get the shell off and it doesnt exactly taste like something created by an áll powerful´ being. So if god did in fact mean for us to eat fruit his designer skills need perfecting. ´Perfectong you say!?´, but I thought God was perfect!!´. Yes I know, it is all very very confusing...
