For me its because that's the way it is. Why do guys always lead in dance? Also its just tradition. But you shouldn't stand in a tradition you should make your own

That's the way the world has been for so many years . I always say if a woman has a hard time finding a boyfriend, it's because she doesn't walk up to a man and say "Hi ! My name is Mary Smith and I don't have a boyfriend !" . If a woman throws herself at enough men, sooner or later one of them will marry her .

i prefer when guys make the first move just because im extremely shy
as in everyone at school just knows me as being shy.

no idea, i think it should be 50/50. if the guys asks me out, i usually make the "first move". if i ask him out, i expect him to do it. girls are weird
