Here it is vac and Sharon! Be prepared for cheeseball deliciousness!!!

This is the easiest and yummiest cheesball recipe EVER!!
My mother-in-law makes this for just about every get together our family has!!

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
8 oz. sharp cheddar cheese
8 oz. medium cheddar cheese
1 pkg. Hidden Valley Ranch dressing (original flavor)

Let cheese soften to room temp. Mix cream cheese, sharp
cheddar and medium cheddar together. Add dressing pkg.
and mix well. Form into a ball and roll in chopped
pecans. Chil well.

Hint: Let the cheeseball sit out for about an hour before serving, otherwise it is hard to spread on the cracker. It'll crumble too much.

Enjoy!!!!

Here's a cheese ball (log) recipe that is so simple, and made with a cheese you wouldn't expect to be so tasty. People are amazed when I tell them what kind of cheese it is. They usually ask what kind of cheese it is. Honest.. this one's always a hit!!

Sm. pkg. of Velveta Cheese (sorry.. don't remember the size, but there's a wee one (makes one log) and the next size makes 2)
garlic powder (NOT garlic salt)
chopped walnuts
paprika
nutmeg
chili powder

Bring cheese to room temperature, add a few tblsp. garlic powder, 1/4 to 1/2 cup chopped walnuts. Mix well. (this works best with the hands).

Now place equal amounts of the chili powder, nutmeg & paprika in a small container and mix well. Spread it on some waxed paper. Divide the cheese mixture in 2 portions (if using that bigger sm. box of Velveta), and roll each in the seasoning mixture, covering completely. Wrap in plastic wrap, then in foil and refrigerate. Bring out about a half hour before serving as this is a spread. I like it with Ritz crackers, but use the crackers of your choice. I don't think Triscuits would be great for some reason.

Give it a try... it's different and always a hit.

Mine is more of a dessert dip....but it is always very popular at all my parties when I serve it.

Chocolate Chip Cheesball

1 stick butter (softened to room temp)
1 package of cream cheese (softened to Room Temp)
1 Cup of Sifted Powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 Cup mini chocolate chips
Chopped nuts of choice (optional)

Cream together butter, cream cheese, sugar and vanilla until smooth.

fold in chocolate chips

form into ball and let harden in fridge. When hard, roll in chopped nuts.

(sometimes I find that the ball doesn't set back up, so you may need to add a little more powdered sugar. Or you can just put it in a bowl as a dip and just mix the nuts in.)

SOOOOOO GOOD!!!!

Serve with Graham Crackers for dipping

Whenever there is a get together, my friends always ask me to make my famous "crab cheeseball......It's yummy & really simple to make.

You'll need the following: 1 large bar of cream cheese @ room temp, 2 bags finely shredded cheese - I use mild cheddar, 1 pkg of the imitation crab meat from the meat case - chopped, 1/4 cup chopped scallions or chives, 1 tablespoon of worchester sauce, a sprinkle of celery salt & a few dashes of hot sauce. Mix all ingredients together in large bowl with clean or gloved hands. Shape into the form of a log or ball. Roll in chopped pecans or walnuts.......Serve with assorted crackers.........Yummy & goes great with wine!

Cream cheese and packet of thin slices corn beef. It's in the packed bologna and hot dog section. Green onions and Worcester sauce. Cut up green onion the green and white part of the onion. As much as you like, then mix all in ingredients together. You need about two packs of cream cheese and two packs of corn beef. Tear up corn beef in small pieces. Heaping tablespoon of Worcester sauce. Mold into huge mound shape and place on cheese ball dish or nice plate and refrigerate. Just add crackers for dipping. Your choice crackers, I recommend Ritz or Club.
