There have been times in the past when it WAS preached that all women were sinners, or that (insert nationality here) were all sinners and/or subhuman.
I think that what we can learn from history is that such things lead to a lack of understanding, compassion, and humane treatment of whatever is perceived as Other.

I fail to see why, christians in general, must make everything to do with sex,in any form, bad!
Sex is a good thing, and yet religion is bound and determined to make it dirty, filthy, bad, wrong, taboo, and generally just not the thing to do!
2000 yeqr old book, one of 236, and was written a long time ago, by men! No one has factual evidence of a deity, or anything else to base superstition on! It is ridiculous that in this modern time, that there are so many that are stuck, with the moral values of 2000 years ago!
So many of these 'stories' have been proven to be just that! Stories!
So, knock it off with the whole sex thing! Sex is good! Trying to make it wrong, is bad!
This is why there are so many unwanted pregnancies! No education about condoms! And STD's could be prevented with the use of condoms! And if you think that there are not people out there having all kinds of sex, you are delusional!
If sex education was brought out into the sunlight, and if people stopped treating it like it was not the good, there would be less rapists, child predators, and sexual hang ups!
But this is not going to happen as long as religious groups have so much to say about everything!
Next they will want to return to the Puritan days, with pillories, and scarlett letters, or worse! This is not the dark ages!
It is such a shame that they ruin something so beautiful, between two consenting adults!

In no way is preaching about sinning supposed to incite hate, but some people can't see the light in it. Jesus ate and drank with the sinners hoping to help them find their salvation, but did condemn their sins. Some people get confused, like Paul, who persecuted Christians because he thought that's what God wanted him to do. Fortunately, Jesus spoke to him and he became a great Christian himself.....
And as far as a group that preached that woman and all french were sinners, well that group would be right. because all people sin!!!!! You can only strive to be perfect like Jesus, but everyone sins!! That's why there is repentance!!!!

Preching really anything can Incite Hatred in any circumstances it all depends who is listining to you. If you are speaking in the open street or even in a hall church anywhere its not your fault what other people do on their own time. If you say anythind to make people go out and do something bad then you are to blame because if they are caught they can always say You said it was right to do whatever they did, do you understand me now. When you are Preching be very carefull what you say some people take things the wrong way, hope this helps you

No, it's a belief.
Muslims are free to believe that Christians will go to hell, right?(And the reverse) It's not hatred at all. Women and men are sinners by the way, silly. We are all! Homosexuality is viewed as a sin by many, and it is our right to think so. There is no proof that people are born homosexual either. I try not to get in other people's businesses though, especially when I am only told that I am hateful.(Which I am not)

It does.Pointing to a group of people, being they Christian, Jew, Muslim, Atheist, homosexual, or any other practice or belief or persuasion or nation origin or sexuality or anything else that identifies a group of people, and saying they are wrong simply because you believe you are right usually incites indifference and hate and violence.
But, usually the ones doing the loudest condemnation of others is people of religious belief.Consider that the Jews have been persecuted time and time again over beliefs and the Christians have been persecuted (in the distant past) over beliefs and natives of the Americas have been persecuted over beliefs and pagans have been persecuted over beliefs and I could just go on and on.The point?Religion promotes dissension and superiority and finally progresses to acts of hate.

It is a Law from the beginning of the laws of God, that Homosexuality is wrong... It isn't something that makes them bad people.... Just like interracial marriage is spoke about in the bible. But ppl do not preach on that enough either.... Some thisng are just immoral. And homosexuality is one of them... many things are immoral. And millions of people preached that blacks were evil and nasty did it make it so, NO It wasn't truth, but homosexuality is wrong.... just like Drugs are wrong, murder is wrong, See God doesn't judge like man.... That is where everyone is missing thr BIG Picture..... All I worry about is seeing souls saved, telling the truth and doing what God tell me to, and I have to say Homosexuality is WRONG..... it is jusyt like abourtion..... Wrong.. And It is In GODS WORD !!!!!!!!

They preach to hate the sin but love the sinner. This is hard for humans to do (and sometimes comprehend). True believers separate the sin from the person and can love the person without liking the choices that person makes.

i'm uncertain what the factor may be. maximum folk, religious or no longer, have already desperate the place they stand and that i doubt something you're saying may be some thing that have not heard earlier one way or yet another. And God withdrew his advantages on u.s. many many years in the past, so it relatively is irrelevant from that attitude.

Anyone who preaches hate is wrong and a sinner. Jesus never preached hate, so why try to justify hate now.
