Constipation: High in fiber, including bananas in the diet can help restore normal bowel action, helping to overcome the problem without resorting to laxatives

The only type of banana hard to digest are the green ones. Make sure they are ripe and you'll be fine. Just try not to eat more than one a day. Although they are good for you, you don't want to overload your system.

Hi. I am not a nutritionist, however, as a personal trainer, it is very important that you realize today that it is o.k. to eat all vegetables and fruits that you enjoy. Enjoy them in moderation. Moderation means not having them many times throughout the day and every day. You SHOULD have fruits and veggies EVERYDAY, just don't have 3-4 bannanas each day. one nanna a day is just fine. If we would all just QUIT worrying about what good foods do to our system and focus on cutting back on sweets, pizzas, ...you got the picture.

Not that I know of, I added one to a morning smoothly for a number of years. If you eat one in the morning with an apple It should hold you until lunch. Visit lin listed in the source to help you with what you should consider adding and removing from your diet.
