You can have sex whenever you want. The law only says that if you are under 18 you can not have sex with someone who is over 18. If you are 14 and have sex with another 14 yo then you are not going to jail.
You should have sex when you are ready to be a parent.

Since you're 14, I hope you don't plan on sex for awhile. As in all cases of people breaking the law, the cops can only arrest those they catch in the act or when someone files a complaint. The 7th grader got away with it because her parents didn't file charges, plain and simple. We voted in laws saying that we believe kids of a certain age (18, usually) are mature enough to make good decisions but that doesn't stop youngsters, and teen pregnanacies go on.

7th grade is too young... I know one that got pregnant in 7th grade actually. Said she had used protection, but for whatever reason, it didnt work.
I think you actually get 20 years in prison for having sex with someone underage. I don't think that they toss kids in jail for it though (say 2 kids both 14). The issue is when someone who is 18, has sex with someone who is 15. You don't want to be breaking laws just because you think you know better. Anyone having sex at age 12 is just going to be a complete slut anyways. Seriously you dont want that.

The laws regarding sex deal with adults(over18) and minors(under 18) to protect young people who are perhaps not mentally ready to commit to a sexual relationship or understanding of it from adults who wish to use or abuse them. The law does not apply to 2 people under 18.
When to have sex is a very personal choice based on religion, upbringing, mentality, beliefs. What is right for one person is not always right for anouther. The important thing is to be sure that when you do decide to have sex at whatever stage in life it is what you want not what someone else wants or what you think is expected. It should be a choice based on caring and commitment for anouther at a time when you truly feel mentally, physically and emotionally ready for it.

Boys are ready to have sex at about age 14 and I know that girls throughout most of history were having babies at age 14. However it is extremely life destroying if an accident should happen to a young girl and should she be faced with having a baby without a mature father's support or have an abortion. Beware of underage or unprotected sex.

um there is no law on when you can have sex....the only time you get arrested for having sex is a) when you are doing it for money or b)you are over 18 having sex with a minor.
you probably shouldnt have sex until you are at least wise enough to know these types of things

okay well there is no rule saying you can't have sex until a certain age. BUT...if a man or woman over the age of 18 has sex with a minor (17 and under) and gets caught by the wrong ppl (angry parents, teachers, police) it is rape. unless the minor says it was consensual. i think thats how it goes...
