The only word I can think of that is close to this one
is Arabic wadi, which means
the bed or valley of a stream in regions of southwestern Asia and northern Africa that is usually dry except during the rainy season and that often forms an oasis : GULLY, WASH.

I have never heard the word waddo(s). I think you mean gueros. Gueros is a term for white/caucasian Americans. Guero is also a nickname for someone meaning light skinned, blonde. I have a grandson whose name is Esequiel or Zeke. He is a blondie and we call him guero.
