Look, kids can sometimes say some of the most unkind things to people. If you know that you are not stupid that's what really counts. I know that it is hard fitting in with others, but your opinion of yourself is what really matters, not what others think of you. As for not doing your homework, that is something that is up to you, but it seems to me doing your homework and making good grades would prove those kids wrong. I mean no one can argue with facts. Try doing some of your homework and see where it gets you. I bet you'll be surprised at how differently those kids treat you when you start doing your homework. Don't let what other people say influence you that much, in the end you have to be your own person, and you can't always run with the crowd. I hope I have helped you at least a little. Good Luck!

Morpheus said, "Don't think you are, know you are." Let me add this, Act like it. And you can only act smart when you change your attitude about and perception of learning. Bear in mind, though, that the gift of being smart is not for you to show off or brag about, nor it is something to be proven so you will be accepted by others. What will matter is how you make use of that intelligence or smartness. Make a good investment out of it by using it to enrich the lives of and giving value to others.=)

Now for a sensible answer...(as opposed to your first answer)
Quite simply...You are what you are..Dont change that for anyone let alone any adolescent opinions from classmates. The general pecking order in the classroom is they always have to find someone to pick on,and everyone will jump on the bandwagon and join in if thats the thang as it takes the focus off their faults!..when i was at school,(im now 28),you were the coolest member of your year if you didnt do your work!!
Get your head down,do what you should do at school,(for your own well being in the future),dont take to heart any of these childish comments as they are probably only spoken through envy of knowing that underneath your 'bravado' you really are smarter than them and rest in the knowledge, like i did, that once you all hit adulthood and are out of school..and you are in a good job as they are not..YOU will be 'THE PERSON' they all wish to 'know'!!

Don't worry about it. Just be yourself. Don't think about how to act smart, because that would be stupid. Think about how to act honestly, how to communicate in a true way, how to know your own feelings. These things are smart.

Kids in my class thought I was stupid too. Very quiet, never answered much if the teacher asked. Then i scored in the top 0.1% on the standard achievement tests they had in 7th grade. Sent me out for Iq tests, wanted to know if i wanted to go to a fancy school, wondered why the hell they had placed me into the mid level classes. Blah blah, I told em to screw, i was happy being smart and not ever having to study getting B's because i never passed in homework. I sure showed them haha.

Do your homework, participate in class activities, stop playing lazy, and concentrate on what the teacher says in class. You're smart and you don't care what others think about you. These are what make you real smart among your friends or classmates.

hi hon...
if you feel you are lazy and can do better, perhaps start NOW to change that.
you can talk to the school counselor for help and direction. you can also do a yahoo search on SELF MOTIVATION SELF HELP.
You are NOT stupid... but being lazy doesn't make for a very productive life. Do your best.. and take care of you.

First impressions are each and every thing! Do you ACT like a dumb blonde? Do you gown like a dumb blonde? the only thank you to ge smarter is to earnings and pay interest at school. there is plenty extra obtainable to be hectic approximately than climate or not you're a dumb blonde. do not say "like". commence that one now. :)

You don't need to prove anything to them. If you believe you are smart then you are smart.
If you try to prove yourself to them then you are putting them higher or above you and that is pointless.
Believe in yourself and try your best to ignore them. Maybe tell one of your teachers that you trust as well because they ARE bullying you and if you're in the UK or the US, then this is tolerated less and less.
You don't have to deal with this alone.
