Is it possible to get a train from Shenfield to Cambridge? I don't think you can get a straight train from one to the other, but what stations do you change at? Also, how far is the cambridge train station from the corn exchange?
thanks

As the previous answer says, into Liverpool Street, and then out again to Cambridge. You can save a few minutes by going via Kings Cross, but that does mean a journey on the underground. I don't know where the corn exchange is in Cambridge, but I assume it's in the centre. Be warned, therefore, that Cambridge station is quite a way out of the city centre.

The quickest way is probably Shenfield to Liverpool Street and then Liverpool Street to Cambridge
