Our church is making them as a fund raiser, but we aren't sure how much to charge for them.

Anywhere from 5 to 10 dollars. When the Rosary Club I belong to sells them at out holiday bizarre those are our prices. The cheaper ones are usually typical cookie or brownies recipes like chocolate chip and regular brownies. The more expensive ones are made with macadamien nuts, dried fruits, etc.

I make them annually for a craft bazaar that I participate in, the prices vary depending on the container and the ingredients. I sell the pint canning jars with cookie mix for $7.50, pint canning jar with bean soup mix for $6, pint canning jar with beef veggie soup mix for $8, the 1 cup canning jars with brownie mix for $3.50 -$5 depending on what kind of nuts I add. If you are going for the quart jars I would say up the price 1/2 to 2/3's of the pint price. If you are using other types of containers: big mugs, crockery jars you will need to up your price to cover the cost of the container. Good Luck & don't forget to add pretty material or ribbons to make them look good.

When you are selling something for a good cause, you can get away with a little higher price. I don't know what is in your particular jar,( cookie mix ?) I think no one would mind giving a 10 dollar donation and getting something nice also.
good luck!
