ive had several sets of earbuds in within the las year and they all have the same problem - after a couple months, sound only comes out of the left ear. its the same thing every time, always the left ear.

it makes me so mad i wanna throw my ipod on the ground. i pay $20 for some nice sounding buds, and i expect them to work for at least a year. i havent had this problem with any other headsets, only earbuds.

why is it doing this?

How do you store them? Do you wrap them around your player when you aren't listening? Wrapping them this way stresses the wires causing them to fail prematurely. The wires on headphones are very delicate so treat them carefully and you will find your earbuds will last a very long time.

try them in a different jack which you be attentive to works (iPod, television and so on). Then if the headphones artwork it is the workstation, and if in the event that they nevertheless do no longer artwork it is the headphones. Headphones going out on one facet is extremely elementary. It happens whilst the twine interior shorts - which in many circumstances happens on the jack from being bent. i've got had quite a few pairs do the comparable ingredient. you will possibly desire to purchase extra reliable ones. i've got got here upon that JVC's are particularly plenty invincible. i'm guessing it has to do with the layout of the jack. They take up jerks and tugs extra suitable devoid of the wires breaking. The JVC pairs i've got owned have outlasted the different type by means of an important margin. basically one million of the 4 JVC pairs Ive had broke, and that's as a results of fact I have been given them moist. i won't be in a position to compliment the different manufacturers plenty for sturdiness. i've got had blended to undesirable success with Panasonic, Sony, Koss and others. My contemporary headphones are Klipsch, which i bought as a results of fact i wished a step up in sound high quality. i've got basically had them for some months so i won't be in a position to remark on toughness (different than it has already outlived some pairs i've got had) yet they have a 2 twelve months guarantee so in the event that they do harm i gets a unfastened alternative. much less costly headphones basically have a 30 day guarantee.

Dont listen to them in the tub or in a room that is steamy. I know I stopped listening to them in steamy places and I havent had to buy a new pair of headphones in a long time.

Too loud. You are blowing them out. Try turning the volume down.
