The ad reads great. I love the idea of cooking projects the kids make and take! Very cute and inventive! Here are some things I would add:
- Your home daycare license number from licensing... parents want to know that you are licensed and regulated.
- If you have any special training... it is good to know that a person has been in the field for a long time (15 years is awesome), but sometimes parents want to know if you have training with children with special needs. Make sure parents know the degree you have, or special credentialing you may have.
- Put up ads in local stores... the grocery stores, dollar stores, library, Walmart, and malls are great places to put up flyers (make the kind with the tear-off tabs along the bottom so people can take the phone number info with them).
- You can also give some to your local WIC or welfare office, and let them know that you are a new daycare in the area. They will put you on their childcare provider list for future references that they give to parents (they also pay well!)
- Advertise in your local phone book and newspaper... a lot of people look up information in the phone book.
- Your best bet is "word of mouth". The more happy customers you have that tell a friend about your childcare, the more business it creates. Give some business cards to current clients to hand out when they happen to talk about where their child goes for daycare.
- Attractive signs outside (say, on the front lawn) to advertise lets people know where you are. Put out a box/container with flyers giving prices and pertinent information that people can pick up as they drive by.

Good luck! Sounds like a fun program!

your ad looks good. Did you post on Craigs List. Also ads in a local paper are good plus let the local churches and private schools know that you have openings for before and after school as well as full time for preschoolers. If you have a local day care registry for state approved day cares, that is another good place to be listed. Tell all your friends and neighbors plus any local businesses that might have employees with preschoolers. Offer a new registration discount for the first week to attract parents who might want to switch.

Have you ever watched children before? If so, give some flyers to those moms. Word of mouth accounts for a lot in today's era of child abuse.

And I would take emails.

Why don't you take out an ad in your local paper, and print off some flyers to post at supermarkets?

LOL - apparently Queen T and I had the same thoughts...:)

hi, why do not you attempt volunteering in a new child care center and get a sense for for it takes. attempt volunteering in a new child care center then attempt volunteering in a kinfolk day care domicile. talk with the director of the two facilites and tell them what and why you wnat to volunteer. i'm somewhat particular you would be nicely won. good success!!
