Ok this is silly.....

In combat typically you dont need, want, or care about the people you had to kill or "what they were about." All you know is that there is a person who will kill you and you must act or die, or worse maybe your comrades will die.

You may or may not feel some residual guilt about the general fact that you had to kill your fellow man. This quickly dissipates when one thinks about the fact that the people involved would have killed you.

Abortion right or wrong in MOST circumstances but not all is the termination of a pregnancy usually due to irresponsibility IE..not using birth control, or condoms. There are some cases i.e. rape, or when the fetus is harmful to the pregnant woman however in most cases abortion is conducted due to a failure to use proper birth control meaning IRRESPONSIBILITY.

With abortion you ended a life because that life would have inconvenienced you.

In combat you ended a life because you were forced to do so to survive, or save lives.

Anyone who lumps the 2 together is probably against killing people in general.
No war, no abortion, no death penalty.

Outside of that, they have little in common.
Both decisions can be brought about by violence.
The conflict in Iraq started because the US perceived the Iraqi gov't of working with terrorists, the continued injury/torture of Sh'ites and Kurds, the development of weapons of mass destruction.
A choice to have an abortion could come from the woman being raped.

Ya, that's really the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. I don't know that I actually believe your story.
BTW, an abortion is not killing a human being. In many cases it's not even a fetus yet, and about the size of a pin head.

Go Army...Hooah!

Most military personel who are engaged in combat are there to kill and stop a person, their enemy, who wants to do the same to them.

How you make a connection between the military and a woman having an abortion is way beyond me.

What?
Here is some other thing your class can explore.
What does a beach ball and a cinder block have in common and how does it make them feel.

sounds to me like you have to much free time in your school. maybe they should be teaching you more math rather than, "is a war like abortion?". that's why china is way more advanced than us.
