If your TV has a VGA input-you can use that. You cannot use a cable to go from analog VGA to digital HDMI, although you can probably buy a convereter unit. If your computer will accept a new video board, then add one with HDMi or DVI capability.

Here's a place to buy cables where they can put different ends on. So you could do a VGA on one end and an HDMI on the other. If you're really confused they will gladly get you just the right combo.

What you need is a PC to TV converter. You can't do it with just a cable you need something to convert the VGA signal into something the TV can use .
