Hi there. I'm a stay at home mom. To make a little extra cash, I watch my elementary school aged neighbor from 6 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. Monday through Friday. It's about $20 per week, which is nice. Good luck!

My sister in law makes pretty good money selling things on eBay, she goes to thrift stores and yard sales and makes extra money that way.

My youngest is finally in 1st grade so I am doing sub TA work for the school district until I can get on full time, that way I will work my kids schedules.

I had thought about day care but my husband said he wants no kids other than ours here when he gets home. Well sometimes he is home as early as 6:00 and that is just not feasible for every child to be picked up by then so we did not do that. I also said then don't complain about not having extra money and he did not, well not as often LOL

For the most part no. I've done some mystery shopping but you don't really make money on that unless you live in a particular area but it paid for some extras. Next year my daughter will be big enough to go to preschool a couple of mornings a week and then I can dedicate more of my time to income potential.

Well, I actually work from home. I have a small office that I just recently finished in my new house complete with everything I need for my job. It allows me to stay home and be with my family and pay the bills at the same time ;)
Works for me. I know of some other people who do the same thing as well.

xXo

We are blessed that my husband makes good money, so I am able to be a stay home mom. But, for some extra gas money and the occassional trip to the nail salon (to reward myself) I clean 1-2 times a week at church, everyonce in a while at a friend's home, and I babysit for another friend in my home.

I just recently got a job technically out of the home. I am pregnant again and my husband and I are having a tough time making ends meet so I became a nanny. That way I can take my son with me but i make a little money. However my other duties at the house are being more neglected than usual...sniff, sniff. so i would suggest having a baby come to your house so you can still get stuff done. good luck!

My mother in law was a stay at home mother since she got married and she sold Avon the whole time. Now her kids are all out of the house and her husband is retired and she has a nice savings account to use for vacations and such.

I'm a freelance commercial writer.
It doesn't bring much but it's a perfect project for me while the kids are in school and it lets me make money doing my favorite thing: writing!
I don't work when I have a full house, evenings or weekends.
