They make hard cider - otherwise, I would recommend Spiced Rum, like Captain's. I can't think of much else that would taste right in it.

spiced rum works the best. and for all those people saying just let it turn, don't do it. it turns into vinegar not alcohol. you can make a hot spiced cider with one part rum, to 3 parts heated cider, throw in a couple of cloves and you have a great autumn drink. it just screams hayride.

There is an apple flavored liqueure like Berentzen Apple Liqueur. If you cant find that maybe some rum would be nice, I use it to flavor my apple pie and it gets rave reviews. I would stay away from any fake apple flavorings like pucker.

If you drink "hard" cider you don't need to spike it with anything.
