I put one in my mouth today, and in about three seconds it desolved, it tasted alot like cherioes, so you would think maybe they have some nutritional value. I know it was dumb, but I know their biodegradable, so if it kills me it kinda defeats the purpose.

they are an industrial use product.
The USDA & FDA have not tested them for human consumtion.
Yes they are made from various starches but no health standards. you can get floor sweepings...

If they are made of Styrofoam, they are not edible! The ones you tried are. There are also biodegradable and edible utensils and dinnerware. If what you ate "dissolved" you're ok.
