I am Christian, but I don't know the answer...

It's like this. A man wants to build a house and God gives him the blue prints, the supplies and the tools to build it with. But he won't look at the blue prints or pick up a hammer. Then when the winter storms come and he has no shelter he cries out to God, "Why are you doing this to me? You're so mean!"
Whether a person is forgiven and lives forever in paradise in heaven with Jesus or goes to where ever else He has destined for those who don't accept Him, that is THEIR choice.
God forgives everyone who accepts Christ as their savior.

A Christian 31 years

Christians do not believe that if you sin God stops loving you. In fact, it is in this time that God loves you more, reaches for you more, and yearns for you to return joyfully to Him and His way. People who sin and do not repent, who choose to reject Gods forgiveness, are actually running away from Heaven and heading the other way. We all know what's on that side... The biggest mistake people make is thinking that their sin is bigger than God's forgiveness. No matter what you've done. Let me say it again: NO MATTER WHAT YOU'VE DONE, God ALWAYS loves you and will ALWAYS take you back with open arms.... and a BIG party (check it out: Luke 15:11-24).

There are many who do not believe in God, therefore forgiveness is the last think they care about. You can buy some one a gift if they will not accept it, it is of no use. Further more, if you indeed are a Christan, then you must know that Jesus him self spoke of hell on many occasions as well as Satan, remember the temptation in the wilderness?

Well, people don't gain access into heaven simply for "doing good." The Bible says plaintively that works alone are not enough to earn salvation. People who go to hell, according to the bible, are the non-believers. God forgives sins, but only when we repent.

He is a loving God, and wants us to seek him.

It does seem harsh that God would send people to an eternity in hell, but the Bible clearly says that those who do not believe are doomed to remain there.

God doesn't forgive all sins. Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is unforgiveable.

This must be one of those examples where a non-Christian is more familiar with the Christian text...

He only forgives the sins of those who WANT to be forgiven. Many people don't! Satan is the one who is responsible for all the evil on this planet, not God. Hell is reserved for the Devil and his angels, and any humans who want to follow him. Hell does not currently exist, but will at the end of the Millennium, when the wicked dead of all ages are resurrected to judgment. Then God will send fire down on Earth to completely consume, or burn up all trace of sin and sinners, including Satan and his angels. They will not be "tortured" forever. To believe that sinners burn in Hell for eternity is to believe that sin is stronger than God! It also makes God out to be evil. Satan wants people to believe this, because he hates God and tries to give God his (Satan's) own characteristics.
The Bible says that this fire will be an "unquenchable" fire, but that only means that it cannot be put out, but that it will eventually go out on its own. The same term was used to describe the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. Are S&G still burning today? Of course not. But the EFFECTS are eternal. Those two cities will never rise again. Likewise with unrepentant sinners. They will never rise again, nor exist again. Only the Saved receive eternal life; the Wicked never receive eternal life, in Hell or otherwise.

Because God only forgives your sins if you accept it. The price has been paid but you have to accept it. Otherwise you go to Hell. Imagine it like this. You have been sentenced to death. The warden comes and tells you someone else took your place. They allowed them self to be killed in your place. You can now go free. You say no way. I am paying my own price. Kill me. That is what someone who rejects Jesus does. Even though He paid the price and you now don't have to die and go to Hell. You insist on it anyway. Understand?

(and I don't mean you personally in the above)

of all the sins, all the evil things that can be done, the one that is unforgivable is the most ridiculous one of all, blasphemy, lol kill a million people and you are allright, but suggest that the core beleifs in the system are faulty and you will burn forever, im sorry it just doesnt make any sense unless of course you are terrorising people into not questioning anything about what they are told.

God does forgive all sin except for one! rejection of Jesus
Christ and if you die in that sin you proceed directly to hell.
I don't make the rules I'm sorry "God does".

God loves you....God bless

Because they believe that in order to be forgiven you have to WANT to be forgiven and be genuinely sorry and repent and all. Satan did not.
