I have red tones in my hair so naturally at times I'd like to darken up and go auburn in the fall but it never stays long. Either done professionally or myself, it'll fade out within 3 weeks (and this is with a permanent color btw)

How can I keep the auburn in my hair?!

Cheers!

I also have auburn hair and due to heat tools it tends to lighten up. I use a product called fanci full in the red tone they also have other colors. You pour this from the bottle and saturate your hair really good style as usual and this will last until your next washing. The good this is it's under $10.00 and works great. You can also use a vinegar and water rinse and this keeps the hair shiny.

P.S. Don't forget the colored shampoos

Good Luck

hairdye fades quickly in red hair because it has a low colour pigment, and its harder to dye.
but there's loads of shampoos you can buy to maintain colour.

try clarol nice & easy... they sell a glaze in the color you've dyed your hair that restores it until your next coloring.
