Start by getting in shape if your not already. To graduate from basic training this is the standard for males
run 1.5 mile in 11:57
do 45 pushups in 1:00
do 50 situps in 1:00
Also you should take a college course that has something to do with the job your going to be doing.
Go to the air force website for more tips.

Ask your recruiter what the time limit is for running a mile, you can't graduate from basic training without passing that run, and then practice to make sure you can.
Learn how to iron so you won't have to waste money taking your uniforms to the cleaners.
Practice making a bed with TIGHT hospital corners. You really don't want a training inspector tossing your cot for being sloppily made.
Above all, keep your weight within the limit for your age while you are waiting.

I would suggest you exercise. Do push ups, sit-ups and run. That will get you prepared for the fitness side of basic training.
