I also think it would be ok if it was a legal act only.
Learn our English.
I do resent the jobs going to illegal immigrants.
I wouldn't expect special treatment If I were in another country where i couldn't even speak their language.
I realize the majority of immigrants here, But I dont like being force fed their language as well as it being mandatory in schools.
Its getting way out of hand. If an immigrant wants to be here, earn that right and adapt to our culture, not the other way around.

Legal or Illegal? I'm fine with the people that follow our laws and do the right thing, but I have no tolerance for those that break the law and expect this country to pay for their healthcare for them and their family and everything else. While they work here illegally and may or may not pay taxes and then they take all their money back to Mexico. I say stay there if that's what you want. I'm really tired of the ones that don't want to try and learn the language and actually become Americans!

We need a moratorium for 10 - 20 years and then a return to the law prior to 1965. We are running out of room and resources and I don't see why we are supposed to be responsible for the over-population of the third world.

If I wouldn't have been able to immigrate here, I would have tried to have my American husband immigrate to my country.
I believe, as long as you follow the law and don't have a criminal backround, that could harm the new country, it's all based on individual cases, they can let you in. I think they did a major FBI check on me before I was issued a visa in the first place.

I think we need a good long break on all immigration.
Let's have 10-20 years with no immigration.

no problem with it as long as you learn the language, abide by the laws, and go through the legal system and truly wish to be here as an AMERICAN, not just a foreigner living here at my expense as a legal taxpayer!!!!!!

Amnesty or a guest worker program issued for the illegals ALREADY here...seal up the border and require that these illegals learn English.
