Anyone got an idea of what a total brake job, parts, labor, etc would be? Pads, clips, shoes, everything, whole nine yards plus.

OK, here's what they did:
Pad Kit
replace front pads, rotors (aftermarket) both calipers on both
S Rotor, rotor assem both aftermarket
Pin or boot caliper mounting front 2 kits
replace rear wheel brake cylinders, shoes, drums on both rear
fluids, supposedly back brake cylinders leaking badly, rear shoes&drums soaked with brake fluid.

I guess aside from is $1,000 sound around right for the job, but does that sound right for a 8 year old car with 48,000 miles on it to have happen to it?
and does it sound right that they charge around $100/hour for labor? Thanks all.

$700 dollars including pads, shoes, rotors, drums, calipers, wheel cylinders, and brake flushing/ bleeding. However, just pad and shoe replacement would be about $250 for 4 wheels.

Yep,it's not uncommon for a dealer or la de da shop to charge more than $1000.
It would really pay to shop around because you certainly don't need to get that carried away with it.I sense you were already surprised when you went to pick it up.
