I'm not a parent, but my nephew who is 16 years old is staying with us, but I would like for him to be succesful and of course stay out of drugs. I would love for him to go to college to study something that interestes him. Eventually move out and become independent. But that is only my desire, he just wants to relax after school and get a regular job for a couple of years. It's too bad that kids don't listen until is too late.

Since I have only one child - my daughter, I wanted her to be strong, independent and have a broader view of life. I never spoil her.I always tell her to value the love and sacrifices of her parents and to value everything she does coz she may never pass this way again.
My deepest desire for her is to finish her studies - passport to get a good job so that she can carry herself wherever and whatever life leads her.

Total and complete peace and happiness, of course you want them to stay off drugs, and heck yeah move out. I want to know that they are able to take care of themselves but I want my sons to choose their destiny and be happy with their choice. I want them to have full lives with the best that the world has to offer them, and the peace and joy that only comes from above.

to be happy, to learn to respect themselves and others.
stay off the drugs and be independent, to be a leader, not a follower. have some good friends and be able to make good decisions if not learn from their mistakes.

I wish my step-daughter would stay off drugs, get a job and be more responsible. She's 16.

I'd like my children to use their own brains, and hope they will have ambition and set goals.
I can't dictate or suggest a career or particular college for them. I have no deep desire for them to be something i want... it's not my choice or my life. but my children's life. I will always be supportive and encourage them in whatever route they take in life.

I want them to become self sufficient adults who are well balanced and make good sound decisions. I want them to be responsible for their actions to themselves and to others. I want them to the thankful for what they have. This will lead to happiness and a fulfilling life for them.
