I doubt you'll get a decent answer - I doubt many theists will even think about it. It's like getting a child to shut up by promising them a present at christmas (another way god is like santa) without having to say what they'll get.
Indeed, the stories of heaven with rivers of honey and such show what feeble imagination the bronze-age authors had. It reminds me of that song 'big rock candy mountain'.
I expect atheists would have more skill describing what a heaven could be like, but they'd have far less interest in doing so.

Gosh, i did not see this question the day till now immediately yet I could say that if a Christian is standard via his culmination then i don't see how Mr. Obama could desire to probable be a Christian. So the only ingredient i will parent is, he had to do some thing to cool down all of his supporters who did not like Rick Warren being an element of the inauguration. i think of Rick Warren is merely getting used via him, too, yet i'm hoping he has the braveness to wish in Jesus' call like Franklin Graham did (whilst Mr. Bush grew to become into sworn interior the final time). He grew to become into superb. God bless!

you are misinformed......."Heaven is not everything you want"
The Bible does not define Heaven as such. I wonder, how did you came up with that idea?
what the Bible tells us about heaven is that there will be no more pain, suffering, lack of any kind. While the Lord gives us the desires of our hearts,there are conditions. Jesus does not arbitrarily pass out whims to satisfy the human lust. nor will he violate a persons free will (IE choices). as clever as you think you are your probably not as clever as the Pharisees were.They could never establish a conundrum to void Gods word or judgments.
For Darwin's disciples:
getting to heaven may actually be proof of evolution for you, one could argue... since finally man will see the evolution of a lessor species into a high one. something that we have never seen, documented or proven on the earth.
Truth strikes back;
according to the Bible Man will be mearly "restored" to his place in the order of creation. since the Bible tells us man was created just below "Elohim"
weather you see "Glorified Man" as an evolution of the human race or the restoration of things lost. Man will no longer be evil in nature nor so bound by his own flesh. so the notion of what a person "wants" is quite speculative at best.

who ever said Santa was gonna be there fulfilling your every wish?
Heaven is eternity with Jesus...the one who loved you more than anyone ever could.
You will want for nothing in heaven but you don't get a wish list filled

No, heaven is not "everything you want." That is not the definition. Our "wants" that we experience here on earth are mainly human wants and we will not be human any more. We can't even imagine that glory and fulfillment of heaven.
The time is now, to pray for those you love. Your desire is for them to be in heaven, but they have free will. God desires their salvation more than you do.
