No. If it is not faith, it will be something else.
The world will always find a reason, a way to stand apart from each others.

No. Positions of faith (be they Theistic, Atheistic or Social) need to be challenged and strained in order to grow and evolve. Without colliding beliefs, we would just stagnate.

On the other hand, it could certainly be argued that the world would be better off with an acknowledged set of principles about the importance of humility in our supposed "understanding" of the world around us. Too much faith masquerades as confident assertion of fact, and it would certainly do the world well to appreciate this. At least, that's what I think. I am, of course, open to debate on the matter. =D

Certainly, IF it was the Biblical faith of the primitive church. Read the book of Acts chapters 2-5. And so believe and do.

(1 John 4:9) "In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him."

(1 John 4:14) "And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world."

The world is under the judgement of God.

It is an enemy of God and utterly rejects Him. That much is obvious.

It is to be destroyed. By grace, God is presently taking out a people for Himself.

The world can never be better or better off. That is quite impossible.

Faith enables escape from the judgement of the world.

The world would be better without any faith. Faith should not be a virtue. Belief without reason is irrational. Faith can motivate people to do immoral things that they would not normally do in the absence of faith.

No of course not! Imagine the world following one church, one leader? from religion to politics ... One leader again/ remember Hitler? That was his ambition and i don't know that too many of us would have liked to live under his rules! Not only that but it would make for a really boring world too!

I have friends who are Christians (Catholics/Protestants? others are Muslims and one of my best pals is a Jew. Now it makes for a terrific exchange of ideas, cultures and the fact that we call God a different name, that we all worship in our own way, doesn't mean we can't be happy together! I was ill a while ago and all my friends prayed for me. They asked Iman/Rabbi/Vicar/Priest to join in and i got the most beautiful get well card and get well present either! They all signed on the one card because to them, my religion don't matter!I'm their friend, was poorly so all signed and as for present! They all put in a little thing for me, something you wouldn't buy, hand made by them, each and everyone a little bit of their cultural tradition.

If it works for us, it can work for everyone!

Hi,
That is a deep question that is going to get a lot of replies. Here is some food for thought. A lot of people question religion today and are some what discouraged with it for some reason or other. Sometimes people even think that they would be better off without it.

The articles I am sending allow you to think about this a little more and to get Jehovah's view point about the matter. Here is a verse from Malachi 3:16-17

16 At that time those in fear of Jehovah spoke with one another, each one with his companion, and Jehovah kept paying attention and listening. And a book of remembrance began to be written up before him for those in fear of Jehovah and for those thinking upon his name.

17 “And they will certainly become mine,” Jehovah of armies has said, “at the day when I am producing a special property. And I will show compassion upon them, just as a man shows compassion upon his son who is serving him.

Our God cares about us, just like a father cares for his son, and is referred in the bible as out heavenly father.

The bible shows us how it is to our benefit to draw close to God and learn to recognize truth from untruth. He has given us the bible, his word to enable us to do this and by a personal study we can gain a lot of understanding and appreciation for the creator of the heaven and earth.

Would it not be a delight to be surrounded by people who imitate God’s love? Happily, worship of the true God is not a solitary activity. It brings you into contact with others who love what is right and good. Of course, you may feel uncomfortable with the idea of organized religion. As we saw in the preceding article, however, the problem with most religions is not that they are organized but that they are not organized in the right way and for the right reasons. Many organized religions serve unchristian ends. God’s people are organized by Jehovah himself for a noble purpose. The Bible says: “God is a God, not of disorder, but of peace.” (1 Corinthians 14:33)
