Islam. In Islam you have to shoot water up your nose to flush out Satan, cover your spoons before you go to bed, wipe your butt with stones, and drink camel urine when you're sick. They also believe that the sun sets in a pool of mud every night and that sperm comes from a man's chest. I'm not making any of this up. You can check it yourself.

JW- the guy's knocking on your door, as you examine, ignoring them. Scientology- the main complicated scam ever made... The founding father of Scientology grow to be earlier a technological understanding fiction author, you recognize. Mormonism- that's like Christianity, in basic terms it consists of the e book of Mormon, which has something to do with alien prophets?

This is a really rude question. You're opening up for people to spread propaganda about others that's not true.
ie that Catholics worship Saints. That's pretty goofy, but it's totally false. Catholics don't do that. They pray to saints for an advocate in their time of need, which isn't really that odd the more you think about it. I heard that from an actual Catholic. But others will hear it from their aunt, who heard it from her dad, who heard it from a friend, who heard it from a second cousin, they're going to believe the saint worship thing over an actual Catholic trying to set the record strait.
Christianity is goofy to me. I mean come on. The trinity? That's the biggest peice of nonsense anyone can think of. It's totally unbiblical. Nowhere in the Bible does it indicate God is some sort of multiple man. And their explainations are even worse. "If you took your arm off and threw it, then that would mean a part of you is here and apart of you is over there..." Okay I don't know if you guys realize. But that doesn't make sense.
Then there's the flesh is bad, spirit is good. How can a gift from God be bad?! Just because you can do bad things with a gift, doesn't make the gift itself bad. Like if I gave you one of those metal Voltron toys and you go knock the tooth out of one of your siblings with it. That doesn't make the Voltron bad! And that gives way to the even sillier notion that the reason Christ prayed literally to himself is to keep the evil evil flesh under control. What???????
That the Bible is all we need because the prophets were a sign of the dark times before Christ. That's really goofy. People. Look around you. Things have progressively gotten worse since Christ came. I think now is a very good time for God to talk to men again through prophets.
To believe we can become like our Father in heaven is blasphomy. Christians say the thought that men can be like God is blasphomy. Yet Christ commanded that we become like he and his Father. Why would he command us to become something he doesn't really want us to become? Is our lives a mockry to him? He's going to command us to do things, then condemn us when we seek to obey? Whatever.
That man was originally in God's image, but then when he partook the fruit mans image changed... Talk about making it up as you go along.
So you see, goofy is in the eye of the beholder.

Besides, Mormons ARE goofy! And there is nothing wrong with that damn-it!

Jehovah's Witnesses certainly are NOT "goofy".
As a strictly academic matter, Jehovah's Witnesses have a remarkably satisfying, bible-supported theology which frequently DOES seem to almost literally "have all the answers"; yet isn't that what one would expect from true Christianity?
Jehovah's Witnesses are unique for their rejection of paganisms, use of God's personal name, and global preaching by every active adherent. No other religious organization can claim such purity of worship.
These facts about Jehovah's Witnesses are perhaps relevant to this question. The more one compares this Christian religion with others, the more remarkable it is shown to be.
1. Jehovah's Witnesses have no paid clergy. Yet they remain tightly organized with more than 6.5 million active Jehovah's Witness preachers (about 16 million associate themselves with the religion). Even fulltime preachers and workers at their branch offices are unpaid volunteers.
2. There is no elite class among Jehovah's Witnesses. Even the few 'anointed' among them enjoy no special privileges in their congregations on earth. An anointed person (one of those relative few with a heavenly hope) is not elevated above his fellow congregants in any way, and he may not even qualify for appointment as a simple 'deacon' or elder. There are no titles; EVERYONE is addressed as 'brother' or 'sister'.
3. No person benefits economically from the Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Even the 8 to 20 men who serve on their Governing Body receive simply room, board, medical care, and reimbursement for certain personal expenses according to the exact same provision as every other branch volunteer.
4. About a hundred men have served on Jehovah's Witnesses' Governing Body committee during the past 125 years or so. The vast majority of them have spent the vast majority of their adult lives volunteering for their organization's purposes, and the vast majority have died faithfully and near-pennilessly while still under their legal 'vow of poverty'.
5. Amazingly, Jehovah's Witnesses did not splinter as a sect from some other religion. Instead, a truly tiny but sincere group of bible students studied only the Scriptures to determine the will of God. Thus their religion remains absolutely independent of and not carrying the sins of Christendom's history, yet carries the authority of Christ's teachings.
6. Despite the distortions of anti-Witnesses, throughout their modern history Jehovah's Witnesses have refused to claim divine inspiration or infallibility for their teachings. They have pointed to the bible (and not any particular translation) as the only inspired infallible means of knowing God's thoughts. For over 125 years, their teachings have been presented as merely the results of sincere bible research by imperfect but godly humans.

Depends on what view as goofy. Honestly, I think the ones on Y!A can be goofy. When I read someone explain the beliefs of a certain religion (of which they are clearly not a member) it is often so far from accurate it can be quite funny.

If you are insecure in your own faith, ALL of the ones you don't believe are going to sound goofy.
If you are SECURE in your faith, you won't CARE about the others, or what they believe, especially if they aren't stepping on anyone's toes.
