27 years ago I was struggling in a marriage that was failing. My wife was cheating, I was in a new job, and our teen-aged son was very much in need of parents.
I had stayed in the marriage for several years because I felt there was no real alternative.
Then one day it all came to me with clarity I have rarely experienced, before or since. God gave me permission to end the marriage and to become a better parent, and God gave me the means to survive.
I was able to sever most emotional ties, get a no-fault divorce, keep my son and proceed with my life. She went on her own way. I believe all three of us have had better lives since then, in different ways.
My son and I remain on extremely good terms, but my ex-wife and I haven't seen each other or communicated in 19 years. I remarried, have another son, and feel God has strengthened me through the years and blessed me.
Life is never easy, but God makes it possible.

Well, I was once praying to God about something and begged Him for an answer, and when I looked at the sky I suddenly saw a rainbow. Some may say that it was a coincidence, but I would like to think that it was God's way of telling me to not give up hope.

Four years ago I was driving after dark on a dark dirt country road, I got a flat tire. It was in November and quite cold I had my left leg in a cast. I was on crutches, I got out of the car and tried to flag down a car. People just kept driving past me. I was 76 years old, what was their problem? Were they afraid that a little old lady on crutches was going to hurt them? I was cold and scared, my son would be worried he was expecting me. I sent out an S.O.S. ( in prayer ) to God. Finally after over an hour a young couple drove up. The husband fixed my flat and they followed me to my Son's house to explain to him and my Daughter-in-Law. Praise the Lord!

God existed before He created everything you can observe. God revealed to us that He is spirit. God also told us that we are body, soul and spirit.
Yes in the physical we see what God created, but we worship God in spirit and in truth.
Answer: You can not observe your way to God. Try using (other than is sight) what God gave you.

I prayed and asked the Lord to reveal Himself as a last grasp on belief.
He either chose not to, or doesn't exist.
That was a surprising reminder of the presence of God not existing.

It was also gods "plan" for the car to hit you in the first place. You didn't die so he hasn't got a better plan for you in heaven.
So to sum it up, he hit you with a car for shts and giggles

Pamela,
So, how do you feel about god's involvement in the 43,000 americans killed every year in auto accidents?
you have no idea how silly your logic sounds to an atheist.
