i'm planning a romanic eveing for me and my bf and i thought i would have a romantice italian dinner with spaggetti and stuff like that. i wanted to have wine for something to drink but i don't really know what kind of wine would be better red or white. so if any one could tell me which would go with dinner red wine or white wine? i know theres all types so just name that ones you think would be better with spags.

I would have to say red wine. And since bread goes great with spaghetti and wine you should make breadsticks or get some french rolls to go with dinner. Maybe even a salad. Enjoy!

I would go with an Italian chianti if you're having a red sauce on your spaghetti - that's a classic pairing of wine and food that makes both taste better!

Im doing the same thing kinda 2marrow night , Me and my buddy are cooking dinner for are to female friends and we are going to get a bottle of something to get ****** smashed be4 and then were gna have a nice bottle of wine on chill for the dinner , id probally say the white wine its a good one.

I was told that it really depends on the sauce that you intend to use... if it is marinara (red sauce) go with a red, and if it is white go with a white. That's what the lady in La Maddalena, Italy told me....hope that helps.

You could go with either. I would say a red Pinot Noir (Beringer is a good brand) or a white Sauvignon Blanc (I like Fetzer)

red wine is better sweetie.. like a bergundy wine is great . it compliments the taste of spaghetti so much more better then the white wine would...take heed ...
